Gabriela Chelariu

Gabriela Chelariu is a perfumer who blends memory, nature, and creative sensitivity. Born in Romania, she grew up surrounded by scents of lime blossom, lilies, green tomatoes, and wet earth—fragrances that shaped her identity. Her journey began in a fragrance lab, and a visit to Grasse revealed her true calling.

In 2000, she moved to the U.S. to train as a perfumer. In 2015, she joined Firmenich, mentored by Honorine Blanc. Her creations are vivid and emotional, bridging rural memories with modern perfumery. Gabriela turns her childhood scents into poetic, sensory stories that resonate deeply.
